Integrative De-escalation (IDE) is an experiential training workshop for front-line staff seeking to shift how they handle escalated situations.

By seamlessly combining cutting-edge knowledge with practical tools and processes, IDE provides teams with a trauma-informed, neurobiologically grounded system for de-escalating challenging situations in the workplace.

To effectively manage escalated situations we need some understanding of what is occurring within an escalated person. Through a neurobiological lens, escalation has to do with a sensed lack of safety. It is an extreme, external response to an intrinsic sense of danger. IDE offers an integrative and comprehensive approach to de-escalation that enables more responsiveness, effectiveness and compassion.
